  • Clark suffered much for the Revolution. At least two of his sons were held as prisoners, at least one on board the notorious prison ship Jersey. Their ends remain uncertain.

  • He was elected to attend the Congress again in 1787 when they worked on the Constitution, but poor health kept him at home.
